The senior play this year is Shakespeare's 'A Comedy of Errors'. Shakespeare
is probably the Anglophone world's greatest dramatists, writing 37 plays which
are still performed regularly worldwide. The English language is also suffused
with his poetry; he wrote over 150 of them. We are forever in his debt.
Shakespeare wrote 'some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon
them.' 'Greatness' has been thrust upon a number of pupils who have been asked
to write short articles on some literary giants from their native countries. They
will be published over the next two weeks. Keep an eye out for them.
